Silicone Drinking Lid with Stainless Steel Band for Mason Jars

The only complaint I have with these silicone drink lids are the stainless rings which are difficult to thread on and because of my wife’s Rosacea she is not able to use them. I’m going to attempt to drill out a Ball anti leak plastic lid with a hole saw to make it adaptable with the silicone drink insert. Honestly I think the plastic lid/ ring would be a better option over the stainless ring. I do thoroughly love the silicone sleeves for keeping the glass insulated and also insulating it from my hand when I heat my tea in the microwave!

I had been gifted regular mouth mason jar drinking glasses with handles. For the younger grandkids, the lids helped the spillage with just straws.

These silicone lids and kozies make it fun and safe to drink from glass jars. A cool fruit smoothie or a hot herbal tea blend stays at my preferred temperature for a long time. These lids are fantastic when you want easy access to your drink with minimal spillage if it tips. My only complaint is that the hole is too small. I use it for water and other cold beverages (so burning is not a concern) and I could never drink enough with that tiny hole. I modified it with a leather punch, but it's still not great.
