I’m using this vacuum sealing kit to sure better storage of my dehydrated foods, and using the pump by hand (I don’t have a vacuum sealing machine to attach it to). The pump is sometimes tricky to make sure you have a seal (you put the large wire part on the top of the jar, and rest the hand pump over the hole at the top—nothing to “plug” into), but with practice I managed to keep the seal while pumping the air out. Pump does not require a ton of strength to operate. When taking the white jar cover part of the pump off of the jar, sometime the blue gasket part of it comes off—but it is easy to put back in, and doesn’t pull the lid off the jar I just sealed. This is good value for the price, and I’m glad I bought it.

Connected to my low end vacuum unit without problem. I am using it to vacuum pack pint jars of powdered green onion. This is a very fine powder. The kit sealed these jars perfectly. This vacuum kit has solved a huge problem for me. I can see this kit being used for many other vacuum storage projects. I highly recommend it.

I recently received my vacuum seal kit for my mason jars, and used it immediately!! I love it! The process was SO easy, and now I want to seal several dry pantry items in my jars! Such a great product!!❤️
