It is easy to use as the size of the jar makes it a good grip and pour. It is easy to clean, when jar is empty of olive oil, I swap the jar out for a clean one. I have run the cover through the dishwasher without issue. The oil drip that slides down the neck after pouring is minimal and contained to the top of the cover.
