I have successfully used these jars to preserve a great recipe for crunchy pickles. I learned this recipe from an excellent French chef whose name was Angel. I’m now using them for cold, sweet oranges. Almost an orange marmalade but made with whole oranges. I sent a pint to a lady who was my mother’s best friend. She is a gourmet chef who has taught me so much about creating awesome dishes. She’ll receive the gift on Monday as a surprise. I can’t wait to hear her reaction!
