Not the quality I expected

I ordered the honey dripper last year and totally fell in love with it. When I saw the buy one get one free my Christmas giving was complete. However I was very disappointed in the quality of these vs the one I purchased last year. Still a very practical item. My family will love them.

Cute honey dipper

I purchased BOTH the Jarware Stainless Steel Honey Dipper and the Stainless Steel Honey Dipper Lid for Mason Jars.

The Stainless Steel Honey Dipper Lid is cute. The dipper unscrews for easy cleaning. However, the handle feels thinner and lighter weight than the Jarware dipper. I have had to tighten the handle a couple of times since using but this has NOT been problematic.

The Stainless Steel Honey Dipper Lid “honeycomb” part of the wand dispenses the honey evenly and does not make a mess. I like that the lid can be purchased for either regular or wide mouth jars. The lid is cute and I like that it’s all stainless steel.

The Stainless Steel Honey Dipper Lid is one solid piece with a hole in the center to screw/unscrew the handle/dipper together which is nice. (The Jarware dipper is attached to the handle however the lid is not attached to the “rim” and I find this annoying.)

Overall, I think the Stainless Steel Honey Dipper Lid is a quality product, cute, and functional. I would purchase this product again and it would make a nice gift.

I will continue to use both dippers.
I prefer the heavier feel and thicker handle of the Jarware lid and I like the lid construction of the Stainless Steel Honey Dipper Lid.
