I bought a couple of these lids for myself and loved them so much that I bought some for my mother and then for my mother-in-law too! Highly recommend!

Should have bought this sooner!

I tried out sprouting using cheesecloth to cover my jars. I enjoyed it, and kept making sprouts by washing and reusing the cheesecloth. This got to be a real pain with tiny broccoli seeds because as the cheese cloth got used, it got bigger holes and I had a hard time not loosing some when I rinsed them. This screen is the perfect size for the water to drain easily but not loose any seeds. And if I wanna shake the jar to speed up the water getting out, I don't have to worry about cheesecloth and rubber bands coming off. Definitely worth purchasing, even if you only do occasional sprouting.

I am sprouting seeds in a quart jar with the sprouting lid. The seeds haven't sprouted yet, but the cover makes rinsing them easier. I am looking forward for the seeds to sprout.
