This allows them to stand upside down and therefore to drain better, retain humidity more efficiently, saves countertop space and they are 𝘧𝘢𝘳 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘦𝘳 to rinse and drain several times a day, which is required when growing sprouts. Other than that advice, I really like dealing with this family-run company. They are very helpful and promptly mail out orders so that you receive them quickly after ordering them.

Wanted this for storing tea as well as fermenting and it works very well. Packaged well and arrived intact.

I ordered the wide mouth quart jar and the cold brew coffee filter. It makes great cold brew coffee very easily. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. The video explaining how to make cold brew coffee was very helpful.
